This video interview captures the shock and horror of the North Strand bombings excellently. Seamus has a great way with words and his comment ‘I think there was complete silence’ says so much. Also the cinematography flows really well. I have just shown it to my Dad who was born in 1942 (on the South Side!) and who remembers hearing the bombing being spoken about as a young child.
